Steven: It’s the last strip of the first chapter (arc?). BJ’s acquired semi-employment status and things can only get better. Right? RIGHT? Right. Because this is totally a comic about a down-on-her-luck girl trying to make it in a world that doesn’t like her kind. Totally that kind. There’s no extraneous adventure plot around the corner. That’d be awful.
